John Daly has been a civil trial attorney, in private practice, in Virginia and the District of Columbia for many years. His field of expertise is in Negligence and Torts. Prior to opening his office for private practice, he served as an assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for Arlington County, Virginia for four years, prosecuting cases in the criminal division.
Although he now accepts few legal clients, he still remains an active member of the Virginia State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
He is a lifetime member of the American Bar Association. He has an AV LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating. It is the highest rating obtainable for legal ability and ethical standards.
He began his writing career by submitting short story articles to local magazines and newspapers. He lives in Ocala, Florida in the winter months with his wife Florence. They make their home in Potomac Falls, Virginia during the rest of the year. While in Ocala, he wrote a weekly column for the Ocala Star-Banner.
He now devotes his full time and energy to writing books. He currently has two books published, The Fiction Writer and Murder Murder Murder.
