Now You See It, Now You Don't (Publish Date: TBD) The two men were sitting in the car outside the restaurant, just talking and waiting. They had been sitting there for over three hours. The younger one was becoming very impatient with the waiting. They were both very hungry and tired. It was very late and they had been at this assignment for most of the evening.
"Why don't we just go in there and kill him and be done with it?," said the impatient one.
"Did you ever think that there might be witnesses?," asked his companion.
"I haven't seen anyone leave the restaurant in the last half hour. There are no cars in the parking lot. The place must be about ready to close. Let's just go do it!"
"You think that it's going to be easy to kill Mason, do you?"
"He's no different than anyone else we've killed. Two in the head should do it."
"You're trigger happy. If you would do your homework you would know that Mason is very dangerous and he isn't going to be that easy to kill. Others have tried. They're all dead."
"Are you scared of Mason, old man? Are you getting too cautious for this kind of work? Want me to go in there by myself and shoot him?"
